Thanks to the efforts of members at participating clubs such as Royal Dornoch, Fortrose & Rosemarkie, Tain and Whitecraigs, the first batches of clubs have been received at our Scottish hub for sorting. With over 1,000 clubs collected to date we had a busy couple of days at the end of June sorting and recording clubs by type, material, make and target management route (prioritising reuse wherever possible). Despite being one of the hottest days of the year in the Highlands, we made great progress with our partners at Blythswood Care.
We will revisit the initial sorting exercise soon to start analysing and stripping down clubs destined for recycling or remanufacture.
