Supporting the next generation of young golfers

We were delighted to drop off a number of EcoSHOT chipping targets to the Tommy Fleetwood Academy in Formby over the summer. These are being used by the fantastic coaches at the Academy to teach and fine tune distance control for youngsters looking to perfect their chipping skills.

We have all been inspired by the great achievements of Emma Raducanu following her triumph at the US Open tennis championship. Only a few months prior to this Emma was at school completing her ‘A’ levels. It comes as no surprise that Emma has worked her way up through the amateur tennis ranks from a young age, benefitting from grass roots support, encouragement from family and coaches at each step.

By playing a small part to help improve the short game of youngsters progressing through academies such as that set up by Tommy Fleetwood, at the same time as helping to keep the game fun, garage2green is achieving one of its key objectives – making the game accessible and sustainable whilst giving used golf clubs a new life.
